Wispy Kansas Field

I went out yesterday to the Baker Wetlands which have been relocated to a newly improved space. They have built these wonderful board walks and the area is bursting with all sorts of wildlife.  It was a bit overwhelming with all of the birds flying around, but somehow peaceful at the same time.  I will definitely go back often to document the seasonal changes.

Tomorrow I am off to the Nelson Atkins Museum in Kansas City to see the Monet’s “Water Lilies” exhibit. This is the first time in 30 years that this triptych has been seen together. I am very excited and will chat about my day here this weekend.
